Eighty percent of all learning is performed through vision.¹ An eye exam is the best way to know if your child has the visual "tools" to succeed in the classroom. A screening given at school or the pediatrician's office does not cover all of the same tests that a comprehensive eye examination does. UnitedHealthcare has a checklist you should bring with you when your child visits the eye doctor.
