Tip Tuesday: Facts You Should Know About Vision

Studies confirm the universal need for a comprehensive vision care program. Below are a few of the findings:
  • 75% of adults use some form of vision correction.
  • Nearly 90 percent of those who use a computer as little as three hours a day suffer vision problems associated with computer eye strain.
  • Consumer interest in their eye health is strong. Consider that while only six out of 10 people need vision correction, more than eight out of 10 say a vision plan is important to them.
While a comprehensive benefits plan isn't always financial feasible for today's employer, consider offering specialty benefits - including vision - to your employees as a benefit of working for you. They won't be disappointed!

Until Next Week,
Michelle
